The "Lost & Found" Prevention Guide

There is nothing worse than knowing your passport is "somewhere in the unit" and having to dig through forty identical cardboard boxes to find it. Here is how to keep your sanity:

1. Label Three Sides: Label the top and at least two sides of every box. No matter how you stack it, you’ll be able to see what’s inside.

2. Create an Aisle: Don’t pack your unit wall-to-wall. Leave a narrow path down the center so you can reach the back without performing an Olympic-level floor routine.

3. The Inventory Cheat Sheet: Take a photo of the inside of each box before you tape it shut. Assign each box a number, and keep a digital list on your phone (e.g., "Box #12: Kitchen gadgets and the air fryer").
